Statement to the REACh-Verordnung directive (EC) 1907/2006

HAKAMA AG develops and produces assembly components, housings and structural components on customers order, made above all of metal materials.

We have taken notice of the REACh regulation and we have executed a verification in accordance to the directive of Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (EC) 1907/2006.

The REACh directive differentiates among other things between substances and articles. For the purposes of this directive substance means a chemical element. HAKAMA does not treat substances but produces articles. For the purposes of the REACh directive article means an object which during production is given a special shape, surface of design which determines its function to a greater degree than does its chemical composition.

HAKAMA is therefore not concerned of the REACh regulation.

We have also informed our sub-suppliers to the effect and we have asked for their reporting obligation with regard to the REACh directive. Up to now we have not yet received any appropriate reports.
