“A tradition of innovation”
On 1 April, HAKAMA celebrates its 60th anniversary
60 years ago, on 1 April 1956, Othmar Haberthür and Ernst Kasper founded the HAKAMA company in Mariastein, Switzerland. It was the beginning of a success story that continues to be written to this day. The small metal workshop has become the leading company for innovative casing solutions and components and produces the finest sheet metals for protecting technology. Today, 160 employees work at HAKAMA in Bättwil.
"Our employees are our most valuable resource. Thanks to their enthusiasm, reliability and loyalty, we are optimistic about our prospects for a successful future.”
Martin Heuschkel, CEO
HAKAMA develops, constructs and creates innovative housings, assemblies, as well as ready-to-install individual components, which satisfy the highest standards of functionality and design. We produce customised solutions from steel, stainless steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals in widths of 0.5 to 5.0 mm.
“No one packages technology in sheet metal more innovatively, intelligently and beautifully than HAKAMA - and is still doing so into its third generation. We all look forward to our 60th anniversary in keeping with the motto ‘A tradition of innovation.’"
